Quilted Duffle Bags
Does anyone have instructions/pattern for a quilted Duffle bag?
I need directions for my girls scouts to sew a Quilted Duffle bag as a camp project – I haven’t been able to find directions or a patterns anywhere, and the class at the local store is very pricey.
There’s a free pattern in PDF format on the Free Spirit Fabrics web page for a quilted Tote Bag and nap blanket. Not a duffel bag, but cute. The second link is to a mini duffel bag pattern (also with a downloadable PDF file).
The other thing you can do is watch for your local discount fabric store to have a pattern sale. Jo-Ann’s frequently has all of the McCalls or Simplicity patterns on sale for 99 cents each. There are several quilted bag patterns in their books. Of course, this depends on how much time you have.
